Who we are
About Alliance
The World Scholars Alliance (WSA) was co-founded by two PhD graduates from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Leveraging Hong Kong’s strategic location and academic heritage, the Alliance is committed to its core mission of “connecting global scholars, incubating high-quality projects, and promoting integrated development.” It focuses on three cutting-edge fields—finance, culture, and AI—to build a comprehensive platform for academic exchange, project incubation, and talent exchange. The Alliance closely aligns with cross-strait policies and collaborates with relevant institutions to facilitate in-depth integration among scholars, research capabilities, and industrial resources across mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. It aims to support the high-quality development of Hong Kong’s cultural economy and establish an influential brand for cross-regional exchange.
Our Founding Vision
Leveraging Hong Kong’s unique strengths as an international financial and cultural hub, we will break down geographical and disciplinary barriers and bring together the world’s leading academic resources, transforming Hong Kong into a bridge for scholarly exchange across mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, as well as a fertile ground for project incubation. By establishing diverse platforms for exchange, we will facilitate the translation of academic achievements into practical applications, promote cultural exchange and economic synergy, support the collaborative development of scholars across the Taiwan Strait, and contribute to the integration of culture and economy as well as academic progress in our country.
  • Vision
Establish a multi-platform framework for cultural and economic exchange in Hong Kong; incubate high-quality cross-regional projects; promote academic exchange and industrial integration in the fields of finance, culture, and AI; support the collaborative development of scholars across mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong; align closely with policy directions on both sides of the strait; and achieve a dual enhancement of academic and social value.
  • Our Vision &Mission
  • Mission
To become a premier alliance for scholar exchange and project incubation based in Hong Kong, extending its reach across the Taiwan Strait, and exerting global influence; to establish a benchmark for cross-regional, cross-sectoral, and interdisciplinary collaboration; to drive academic innovation and industrial upgrading; and to foster deep cultural and economic integration across the mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Core Business
The Alliance focuses on three core areas, building a business framework that integrates “academic exchange, project incubation, talent exchange, and AI drama production training.” It precisely aligns with policies and industry needs on both sides of the Strait to ensure the effective implementation of its initiatives. Among these initiatives, AI drama production training is transitioning from a “go-it-alone” approach to an industrialized process. As one of the core business areas, the current curriculum is primarily divided into two categories: practical training programs focused on commercial monetization, and university-level advanced training programs emphasizing systematic instruction. The specific courses are as follows:
  • Academic Exchange
Establish a platform for academic exchange among scholars from mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan; regularly organize academic forums, cross-disciplinary salons, thematic seminars, and academic lectures; invite leading scholars and industry experts from home and abroad to participate; foster the exchange of academic ideas and the sharing of research findings; break down geographical and disciplinary barriers; and promote cross-disciplinary academic collaboration.
  • Project Incubation
Focusing on the three key sectors of finance, culture, and AI, we identify high-potential projects and provide incubation services—including resource matching, professional guidance, and financial support—to startups and projects aimed at commercializing academic research. We help these initiatives take root and scale up, thereby facilitating the transformation of academic value into industrial value.
  • Talent Exchange
Leveraging the resources of our advisory team and universities and research institutions on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, we will establish platforms for talent development and exchange, organize activities such as scholar exchange visits, youth talent development programs, and professional skills training, support the growth of talent across the Taiwan Strait and the three regions, and build a high-caliber, multidisciplinary talent pool.
  • Training in AI-Powered Drama Production
AI-driven drama production training is one of the Alliance’s core business segments. Keeping pace with industry trends, we are driving the transformation of training models from a “go-it-alone” approach to an industrialized process. We offer courses tailored to different needs to meet the learning requirements of diverse audiences, helping trainees quickly enter the industry, secure employment, or enhance their professional skills.
Practical Job-Readiness Course
Focused on commercial monetization, this program is ideal for those who want to enter the industry quickly and seek immediate employment upon graduation.
  • 360 Nanometer Animation Practical Workshop
Featuring a methodology for creating bestsellers in 48 hours, the program employs small-class instruction and incorporates real-world corporate orders to help students overcome challenges related to character consistency and production capacity, ensuring they are ready for the workforce upon graduation.
  • Shenzhen Open University Short Play Class
The course consists of 5 days and 40 class hours, led by Hu Mei, a National First-Class Director at China Film Group. On the third day, the program focuses specifically on addressing the core challenge of “character consistency.” Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate signed and authenticated by Hu Mei, enhancing their employability.
  • 1905 Movie Network Creative Class
Backed by a nationally recognized platform and featuring a “3-day in-person training plus online Q&A” format, top-performing participants will receive recommendations for high-paying job opportunities and the chance to collaborate with industry leaders, thereby achieving dual growth in both professional skills and career development.
  • Hong Kong Training Course
Led by the government, these programs are free or offer universal access. They are based in Hong Kong’s local high-tech zones or software parks and adopt an integrated “learning-practice-production-application” model, making them ideal for participants who wish to study locally and leverage Hong Kong’s resources for their professional development.
